The name Puri is being derived fron Lord "JAGANNATH".Puri is one of the oldest City in the east India.It is being situated at the coast of Bay Of Bengal and is Popular for Beach Resort, from where Sunrise and sunset can be viewed clearly.The City "Puri" is famous for Rath Yatra or the festivals of Chariots, in which the dieties Jaganath, Balabhadra & Subhadra are brought out of the temple for a chariot Procession and various other rituals are being performed.
